After completing a thorough assessment of Blackmore Ltd’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, we are delighted to have been awarded with a Silver
EcoVadis Medal again for sustainability performance as we fall within the top 15% of all the global companies assessed. In fact, we were only 1% away from achieving a Gold medal (top 5% of all companies assessed). Blackmore was presented with the Silver medal as we
scored above 30 in all of the four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

The EcoVadis Silver Medal is one of several environmental accomplishments that we have been working hard to achieve at Blackmore, including
becoming a Carbon Balanced Printer in partnership with the World Land Trust (only 1% of UK printers have achieved this so far),
achieving the BPIF Seal of Excellence (including an environmental assessment),
installing solar panels,
investing in a greener fleet and state-of-the-art machinery,
switching to renewable energy so that all our print is powered by 100% renewable energy.
Continuous and effective management of sustainability practices is critical to our business and society. So EcoVadis is one of the tools that helps us to rate our performance, identify risks and to understand where we can improve and make a bigger impact across the world.
Over 150,000 companies are rated on the EcoVadis supplier network from 180 countries across the world. Whilst Procurement teams at over 1400 multinationals use EcoVadis ratings
to make purchasing decisions every day.
