Blackmore Ltd printers in Dorset was set up by Thomas Herbert Brickell in 1900.

Green Print

Underpinning everything we do at Blackmore, our ethos is to limit any impact on the environment. This is something we are passionate about and is instilled throughout the business. You’ll come to expect our superb quality ‘green print’ as standard for all your print projects.

Your Blackmore print projects are powered by 100% renewable sources including hydro, wind, solar, biomass and landfill gas (including Blackmore's own solar power panels)
We work with the World Land Trust to provide carbon balanced print on projects requiring certification.
We are an EcoVadis Silver medal supplier based on our sustainability performance (placed in the top 11% of all global companies assessed).
We use processless technology for our plate-making; low energy UV technology for instant drying and have a comprehensive recycling and waste management system in operation, all supported by the ISO 14001 Environmental standard.
We only use raw materials from sustainable sources, supported by the FSC Chain of Custody.
Our printing processes are continually assessed and improved to help reduce our impact on the environment.

Consultative Advice
