What is Recycle Week?

It’s the one week of the year where retailers, brands, waste management companies, trade associations, governments, the media, (and Blackmore!), come together to achieve one goal : to galvanise the public into recycling more of the right things, more often."

As an ethical printer where ‘greener print’ comes as standard on all our print projects, Recycle Week is a campaign that resonates with us, so we will be sharing some of the campaign messages on our social media pages during Recycle Week.

Recycling at Blackmore
Everything we do is underpinned by our ethos to limit any impact on the environment. Recycling is a large part of this. Here are some of the recycling initiatives we are doing to help:
• We recycle approximately 840 tonnes of paper and card every year.
• We are proud to have been ‘Zero to Landfill’ since 2018.
• We help our customers steer away from less recyclable materials (such as plastic folders, plastic packaging or plastic bags) by offering recyclable bespoke printed packaging options in card or paper instead.
